Remy Charlip wrote an illustrated children’s book in 1993 called Fortunately. It was one of my son Ben’s favorite books. Ned, the main character of the book, goes back and forth between a series of fortunate and unfortunate events. Your task, if you choose to accept it, (and since it will be graded, I cannot think of a good reason not to accept it) will be to write a book using the same format Remy used to describe the geography of Europe.
Using the text and your Cornell Notes of Europe’s physical geography, you will create a book with a fortunate and unfortunate aspect of each aspect of European geography.
Directions and grade rubrics were handed out in class today.
Books are DUE MONDAY (9/22).
