Mr. Lovera's Virtual Classroom

With shortened periods today due to extended Homerooms, we focued all of our class time on mental mapping. In 6th grade classes, we created a mental map of the world and in 7th grade our mental maps zoomed into the continent of Europe. In addition, we placed symbols next to locations we have been to and a different symbol for locations we dream of going to someday.

Please play around on the Virtual Classroom, including all the fun map games. In particular, students that get to Level 12 of Traveler IQ earn $10 gift cards. In addition, all students that earn 100% on the World Map Game (Level 1) in 6th grade and Europe (Level 1/Countries) earn a GEO Buck. Every students best time in recorded (in pencil so they can change it when their time improves) on the back wall.
